What will you say about the work you've done at the end of your career?

Thank god, I can finally sleep now that I'm dead.

Where do you go for inspiration?

I like to follow links from my friends and network on facebook and twitter. They are wonderful curators who share great design, great food, deep thinking, a love of competition, and challenging political questions. I find consumer behaviors across place, both physical geography and cultural geographies, very intellectually stimulating. People amaze me - how they construct meaning, how they interact with one another, how they adopt brands to express themselves, and how they choose to live their lives.

How do you build resilience into your work & company?

I am inspired to always be a little better than the day before, to find fresh mistakes to make, and to be relentlessly curious about the world around me. Putting yourself and your team right in the flow of data and information allows you to see patterns and develop perspective. Asking the right questions, and then being open to surprising answers - in fact seeking them out - is the other half the battle. I find that good people want to do the right things if they know the right path to take.

What keeps you up at night?

Mostly tactical questions of how to get a lot done, with limited resources.

What gets you up in the morning?

Normally, it's the smell of amazing coffee my boyfriend makes for me. What gets me to work in the morning is a fresh set of challenges and some big dreams.

How is your work cross-cultural?

Our brand is invigorated by its adoption in new countries, particularly by a growing fan base in Asia. They are helping us see ourselves in a different way.


Bio:

I have a new job as the head of digital experience and ecommerce at Benefit Cosmetics, a division of LVMH. My goal is to bring this incredible brand to life through digital experiences. Our philosophy: makeup doesn\'t have to be serious to be fun. Our motto: \"Laughter is the best cosmetic... so grin and wear it.\"
